I would have liked to have stayed there longer but I was only passing through the region. The room was lovely and had a nice outlook. The breakfast was awesome and met the high expectations set by the reviews I'd read. There were nice quality Antipodes bath products provided in the room and when asked if I could purchase some when I was checking out, the girl at the front desk went out of her way to source some for me to buy. I used the gym on the morning I left which was great. I liked the rose garden, which looked really nice at night with the lights. The late checkout of 11 am was very much appreciated and they even extended it to 12 pm without my asking, which was generous. All the staff were very friendly and obliging throughout my stay. This would be a great place to stay with a group, but equally good for a couple as well.

I stayed to celebrate both my birthday and wedding anniversary, and I was pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful gestures from the hotel, including a personalized card, a small gift, a lovely souvenir, and a bottle of wine. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, making the experience even more special. Every aspect of my stay was excellent, and the breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in Australia. The buffet was outstanding, offering a great selection of hot dishes. I highly recommend this hotel!

While voco Kirkton Park Hunter Valley is set in peaceful surroundings with beautiful gardens, it is on the edge of most of the wineries in Pokolbin. Disappointingly upon arrival, we had to wait over 10 minutes before someone arrived at reception. The room itself was very tastefully decorated and presented and clean, although, in the bathroom, greater attention could be given to base of the shower. The bed was comfortable. We made use of the onsite lounge for dinner and would highly recommend the offered breakfast.

The heritage property is very unique, and very Australian. The grounds were very good, and my 10 year old daughter loved to feed the pigs and chickens. Also there wer lots of kangaroos in the nearby paddocks. The remoteness from mainstream was good, but Cessnpck was only a 10 minute drive away with lots of restaurants, pubs and supermarkets. Also Kirkron Park is very well located for Hunter Vaalley Gardens and many boutique wineries. It was very peaceful.

We enjoyed room service that night, the chicken was delicious! We had breakfast with our stay, which was exceptional. Excellent food, pastries and coffee/hot chocolate. We loved our family trip away and wish we booked for two nights instead of just the one!
